The Weather
Summer's here, and the temperature is easily going into the 30s and 40s now. The sun is up for most of the scorching day, and the nights are short and warm. There are plenty of water fights to go around.

The Story Starts Here (4 sub-boards) Come here to fill out the form to create your character. Once it is accepted by a staff member, it's moved to the appropriate sub-board. Check them out to see how many Innocents, Hunters and Seekers there are.
Character Portfolio (3 sub-boards) Here is where you can keep track of all your characters. Make a thread just for you and keep all your character info there. As you continue to make characters, just keep adding them! Can make it however you want! Also here are Sub-Plots, post mini plots that involve your characters!
Pine Street Manors (4 sub-boards) This is a complex full of different types of housing, including small cottages, larger apartments, perfect 2-4 bedroom homes, and mansions, depending how lucky you are.
The Nine Muses Cafe The busiest cafe in Noatak, the Nine Muses boasts two floors and a balcony so customers can sit outside when it's nice. Live music is offered by local musicians on Fridays, and the whole place smells strongly of gourmet coffee.
Uncle Sam's Pizza Pies Uncle Sam has owned this place since the beginning of this town. His pizza's are the best you can get, with a root beer float and french fries. Subs are also delicious. The old Juke box in the corner is always playing here.
A Night Out (3 sub-boards) Here is a place where many people come for a fun night out on the town. It has a movie theater, a fun night club that's great for dancing and a few drinks, and a nice restaurant if you need to impress a hot date.
The Kingfisher By the look of the shop, The Kingfisher had been closed for decades. The front door opens up into the dump at the back instead of the main street. The front display, despite the fact that nobody works here and the door is welded shut, changes on a day to day basis. It certainly has an air of secrecy about it, making it an ideal spot for a dare or an adventure.

Sunset Ave. Mall (5 sub-boards) Here is the Sunset Ave. Mall. They have a collection of stores for everybody's needs. It is the 'cool' place to hang out and meet new people, or come here with old friends just to get together.

The Gardens This is a very peaceful park in the center of town that has playgrounds for young kids, a skate park, a cute little pond, a small petting zoo and just gardens of flowers, mazes of trees and acres of fields to relax and have a nice picnic.
Noatak Clinic The clinic is on the smaller side, but still well equipped. They can handle anything from a small cut to a serious accident. The nurses and doctors are very friendly, and are often your next door neighbor.
An open field with tall grass and flowers is a place of heaven. Many grazers come here for food and peace. Dotted with a few trees for shade, it is a perfect place to have fun and relax. The wind creates waves through the tall grass that the white tailed deer love to chase.
A beautiful forest with many pine trees. Needles cover the ground, making a soft bed to walk on. The sun shines through leaving patches of shade and sun for its warmth. The trees sway in the breeze, bending and creaking. It is very quiet and at night can be spooky for mist seems to drift here after dark.
A large lake where animals enjoy bathing in the cool, clear waters with a nice warm sandy beach. The crystal waters lay at the base of several large mountains, giving it a very private feeling. The mountain wind creates mesmerizing ripples along the surface of the water.
This mountain is an extinct volcano. Animals dwell here because of its fertile soils and fresh foliage. In the morning the mountain is always covered in a blanket of fog, hence its name. There are many trails that lead to its peak, but only the bravest attempt it.
Here lies the old temple where the Indian Shaman lived hundreds of years ago. There are other stone buildings around but none stood against time as well as the temple. It is nearly fully intact. Both Innocents and Hunters come here, so watch your back.
Here is an old log cabin that lies in the middle of the woods. No one has lived here for years, leaving it unattended. The furniture is still intact and the fireplace still works. There is even a small barn in the back with remnants of a small paddock fence. The Innocents use this as a meeting place.
A medium-sized burial ground on which no-one has walked in years. It is said to be haunted by all the spirits of the Indians. Show respect and they leave you unharmed, disrespect them and you pay. There is also a cluster of tall, wooden and faded totem poles.
Along a wide river that feeds into the lake lies an abandoned boat dock with a warehouse and the dock that juts out on the water for the boats. It is very spooky at night when the waves crash into the dock. Hunters use this as a meeting place.
Getting a bit tired of seeing Noatak every day? Want to take a trip? Well, this is everywhere and anywhere that isn't Noatak, whether it be as close as Toronto or as far as China, watching the sunsets on the beach or a tour of the Alps. This is far and wide, and anywhere but here. This is the world.
