Tell me, who are you?
Name: Kali
Age: 23
Height: 5 feet, 4 inches
Status: Innocent
Appearance: Kali has long dark hair that reaches the middle of her shoulder blades. She usually just combs it and lets it hang down naturally. She doesn't do anything special or fancy to it. Her skin is fair, but not pale, and will occasionally tan in the summer. Her eyes are of the richest blue. They look full and vibrant, and by looking into them, you can always tell what she's feeling. Always.
She is usually wearing a pair of dark blue jeans with holes at the knees, and just a plain shirt. She doesn't like all that writing across her clothes. Her feet are usually either bare, or covered by white socks. She doesn't like wearing shoes unless she has to, but when she does, they're just a pair of sneakers. But of course, Kali dresses a little nicer when she's going to a party or something.
Personality: Kali is gentle and kind, for the most part. She likes to make sure that everyone feels included, and will aproach anyone that looks alone and find them a place. This girl will protect you to the very end, if you're a friend, that is. Once she's set her mind on something, there's no going back. She's very adamant, and no one can sway her opinion once she's found it.
But just because she's nice doesn't mean that she doesn't get angry. At first she might say something that's been on her mind in acrimony, but she'll hold her tongue after that. Make her angry enough and she'll start a fight, but it has to be something dangerously serious. The large majority of the time she'll just yell something and walk away.

Tell me where you've been
History: Kali was born in a hospital on the thirty-first day of October. But her relationship with her parents wouldn't last more than a few hours. Hunters came to their room that night, and killed her mother and father while they slept. The little baby wasn't there, or she would have been killed too. One of the nurses had been feeding her, and ran out of milk formula. The nurse had taken Kali with her into the storage room to get more food, and that's why the child lived. She was simply at the right place at the right time. But now she would have new troubles. Troubles that would be with her for the rest of her life.
Kali was placed into an orphange as soon as she was released from the hospital. Growing up in the orphanage was tough for her, and many of the kids found it amusing to pick on her and pull her hair. When they learned her story, they called her "Witch" and "Demon". "It's your fault that your parents are dead." they would say. "You're bad luck." To which Kali would snap back at them with, "At least my parents wanted me. They just dropped you on the first doorstep they saw." Yes, this was rude. But it got the other kids to shut up. Every Halloween, they would do horrible things to Kali. She would find snakes in her bed and frogs in her slippers, rotten eggs under her pillow, and of course, a mouse taped by its tail above her bed. "Black cat." they called her. "Don't you cross my path, Black cat, I need my luck for trick-or-treating." Kali would save the mouse from the ceiling each year and let it go outside. But the frogs and snakes, however, were used in a wiser way. She would take them and hide the snakes in their spaghetti before they sat down, and the toads in their bags of chocolate. Kali couldn't do all of this alone, though. She did have friends. Well, okay, one friend. His name was Damian (Dah-mee-an), and he was her partner in crime. Together, they would pick on the greatest of the bullies and have lots of fun together. They were indissoluble friends. But he was was adopted at the age of fourteen, and Kali never saw him again. Kali was never adopted, simply released from the orphanage when she turned eighteen.
But she wasn't alone. Her Talisman was constantly in her dreams, and every chance she got, Kali would run down to the meadows or the pine forest to be in her animal form. This was growing harder and harder to find time for though, because she got a full time job at Uncle Sam's Pizza Pies from 9:00 to 5:00, and she works nights at Oceana.
Other: If anyone wants to rp Damian, that'd be cool.
