Appearance: Ellis is for the most part, rather plain.
His hair which is brown, and usually left the way it falls in the morning, comes down to just above his brow. His eyes (hazel), slightly slanted downwards at the edges give him a sullen look. He is of average build, with subtle muscle
Personality: Ellis has always been a loner. Quiet too. But that's the way he likes it. He's known from an early age that he was different, and never really tried to fit in. He's never enjoyed being in the spotlight. To this end, he appreciates the crowd invisibility his average appearance affords him
He has a black and white sense of right and wrong, and perhaps a disproportionate sense of retribution. In a fight, he will run away if possible, and later spend his time thinking about how he would punish the person who offended him with often grpahically violent inner thoughts. He is sometimes sadistic, spiteful and hateful. Especially towards humans. On the other side, he enjoys the company of animals, and simply watching them.
He finds his own race of animal spirit curious, and enjoys observing them go about their day. He's tried to socialize with them on several occasions, but each time is trounced by how comparatively stupid they are. After failing to communicate properly with their rudimentary body language and simple grunts and hisses he gave up, and took to observing them.
Their ugliness, however, has started to grow on him, and he finds them rather regal looking now.
Tell me where you've been;; After dropping out of college in his last year of his Computer Sciences course, Ellis returned to his home town in south west USA to live with his parents. Initially he helped out on the ranch with his parents before drifting between temporary jobs. He got a technician's job at a local mobile PC repair business for 4 months, before leaving that too.
Taking his parents advice to get some inspiration in his life through travel, he sets off.
Initially, he just travels around the states, picking up odd jobs for food or board, and when he can't find that, resorting to eating carrion in vulture form and roosting for the night in a tree which he decided wasn't all that bad.
After reaching the northern end of the states, he continues up into Canada and it's not long before he reaches the small town of Noatak...
Before now, despite often searching, he had always believing himself to be the only person who could take another form, and as he hitchhikes into town, the thought never crosses his mind that there are others like him here, much less that there is a war going on.
Ellis has never been seriously injured before, never broken a bone, and would be more than happy to keep it that way.
He has decent experience with computers, can swim and ride a bike, has his full car licence though he doesn't own a car, once wanted to be a pilot when he was younger, and from experiences on his father's ranch can shoot a gun adequately on a target range, though would not probably fare well in a firefight. He's never had a criminal conviction, he drinks regularly, but fairly lightly, and his favorite color is brown
