Appearance: Thomas has short choppy blond hair that he hardly ever combs. He struggles to keep clean-shaven, but gets a little lazy every now and then. He isn't tall, but he isn't short. Thom is a night owl, so he doesn't get much sleep, causing slight darkening around his eyes. Despite the lack of sleep, his eyes always appear alert. His face is pretty narrow, and his nose is pointed. He's got slender little fingers, and sweet smile that can kill. Though he looks a little like a bum, he can pull of cute. Thom is hyper-sensitive to touch, causing him to wear black gloves to avoid contact. He doesn't have the greatest eyesight, but hates to wear his *nerd glasses so he's almost perpetually squinting. One of his eyes was sealed shut at birth, and he had several surgeries to fix it, but the surgeries were all failures. The muscles in his eyelid are extremely weak, causing his to look off balanced. He’s sensitive about his eyes. Thomas is a little self-conscious, and is hesitant to talk. He's painfully aware of his **strange laugh, and therefore tries not to embarrass himself with it.

Personality: Thom has a weird sense of humor. He'll tell a lie and keep it going, all while maintaining a serious face, and then when you finally believe him, he'll crack up and tell you it was all a lie. He's a little obsessed with shiny things, always keeping his pocket full of them. Thomas has strange convictions about protecting people. He'll quite likely detonate if you harm someone, even if he doesn't know the poor sap. He's particullarly protective of woman, children, and the defenseless. Thomas is a bit of a conspiracy theorist. He's just a tad distrustful of the government. He tries to avoid the news, but can't help himself. Thom will watch for hours and let his anger build up about how unfair the world is.
Thomas will smile even if everything goes wrong. He can take just about anything and is very easy going, for the most part. Thom will follow you around a little more closely then you'd like. He won't realize how uncomfortable it is for you, he just likes being close in case you need him. Thom is a little over-passionate about things, and thinks the world is going to hell.

History: Thom doesn't know where he was born, not thinking it's important. He has a faint Irish accent, meaning he spent time in Ireland. Thom worked there for a three or four years but felt like it wasn't the place for him. He ended up moving from country to country, slowly losing his accent along the way. None of his house ever felt like home, and he hated the government wherever he went. Something traumatic would happen to him wherever he was. Seeing someone die, seeing humanity fail him, seeing decency ignored, it killed him. He made the decision of becoming an Innocent long before he even came to Noatak. Thom had met a few in Russia and immediately joined. It wasn't a tough decision for him, defending things was what he wanted to do the most.
Russia was Thomas' last stop, but there had been many before. He got mixed up in a gang down in South Africa. He was forced to get a tattoo on his back, despite his hypersensitive skin. A cop was his salvation. It set him straight. Thomas had been a bitter kid, but with the help of Moeteski he was put on the right track. Mo helped him become the loveable Thom he is today. Thomas had stayed with Mo, Mo's wife Tala, and their kid, practically his little brother, Paki. It was the closest thing Thom had to family, but he just up and left. In Australia, he had befriended a doctor, but left him without a word too. They had been close, but Thomas couldn't stand goodbyes, just like he couldn't stand to be in one place too long. Thomas traveled all over Europe, coming and going as he please, too scared to form attatchments. Russia was his final stop before coming to Noatak but he left Russia after a bloody battle between the Hunters and Innocents. Thom had never made any close friends in Russia, or any other place for that matter, but a lot had died in that battle, and Thom needed to get away from the memory. He always thought back to it though, not thinking about the dead, but the dead's family and friends. Right after Russia he found himself in Noatak, he was looking for his place in the world.
But Noatak seemed familiar. Thomas had been to Canada before, but never knew which town he was in. He just wandered. Thom remembered Noatak. He met a young boy named Oliver Holmes who admired him quite a bit. Oliver left his father to follow Thomas around. At this time, Thomas was still young, not as young as Oliver, but still young. He let Oliver follow him around, because in all honesty he liked Oliver. Oliver was a good kid. Thomas had blocked out Canada from his memory for one specific reason, and that was Oliver’s death.
