What's Your Cover?~
Appearance:
Fulong is built slightly despite his height - in fact, his height tends to accentuate his thin build even more - and has something of the scholar about him. While he's not exactly weak, he'll never be anything resembling an athlete. His black hair is relatively messy if always clean, and his brown eyes are usually kept half-lidded. It's unusual for anything other than a pleasant smile to be found on his face. His posture is kept just short of perfect; he normally wears a neatly pressed button-down shirt, left untucked, and khaki pants with plain brown shoes. In short, his entire appearance seems carefully calculated to project an air of disheveled, if surprisingly respectable, calm.
Personality:
Fulong is always smiling. Always. Even if he disagrees with the person to whom he's speaking. Even if the topic of conversation turns nasty. Nobody has ever heard him raise his voice above a normal tone, and nobody has ever wiped the smile off his face. That's the important part.
Everything else more or less comes in second, although what comes in second is generally just as important. Fulong seems to make it a point of pride to be a perfect gentleman. He's polite, well-read, and quite talkative; he plays the piano and the violin; he's patient and thoughtful; and if there's a noticeable flaw in his personality, it's a tendency towards arrogance that tends to be easily overlooked. While he tends to remain distant when making friends, he's always courteous and ready to provide advice.
From the outside, it seems to even the most perceptive observer as if Fulong is almost more of an Innocent than the Undecided he says he is. And if there's anything lurking below that finely polished surface, it stays firmly hidden to everyone - even, perhaps, himself.

History:
Li Fulong was born Li Zhan in Vancouver. As a son of immigrants, he was raised with the usual high expectations concerning his academic performance, and he fulfilled them to the best of his ability. The same went for his status as a son of Innocents; his Talisman revealed itself early, and from day one he strove to master his own powers for the protection of others, as his parents had taught him. His self-discipline and personal ambition served him well; for some time, he truly believed in the justice of their cause.
None of that changed when his parents died, per se, but he certainly put his ideals on hold for the time being. It was nothing he could have prevented – a fire had consumed the house when he had been away at university. But as the grief-stricken Li Zhan conducted his own personal investigations, he realized, to his horror, that it had been caused by fellow Innocents in an argument that had gone terribly awry. Disillusioned by the experience, the twenty-one-year-old disappeared into the wilds of British Columbia and was not seen for three years.
When he reappeared at last in Noatak, he was still the perpetually smiling youth he had been in Vancouver. And he adjusted to town life quickly. Despite his incomplete education, his charming manner and seemingly perpetual wit earned him a job as an assistant technician at the Noatak Clinic. The only apparent difference was the name with which he introduced himself – a name recognizable to anyone with a passing familiarity with Chinese history and myth.
Fulong. The Hidden Dragon.
