What's Your Cover;;
Appearance: There is one word to describe Scar. And that's punk. His hair is black, in fact, his hair is blacker than black. And it's always spiked. He has a gaunt, thin face. He has menacing blue eyes that say, "Mess with me and die". They are, in fact, so blue that they resemble a clear pool of water in a dark cave. They are always surrounded by thick eyeliner, which adds to punk edge. His nose is small, almost in a snake-like manner. He has well defined muscles. He usually wears a t-shirt with a good band or some rebellion act upon that he has cut the sleeves off of, faded jeans, and converse. He always wears an old shark tooth necklace, for good luck, that he stole from some kid in grade school. On his left bicep is a tattoo of a bruised and bloody fist that represents his will to fight and tattooed on each his fingers are letters that spell out "Saint Jimmy".
Personality: Scar is a hard-woker. He will work and work until a job is finished if he wished it. He is quite industrious, and can accomplish things believed beyond his abilities. He is instinctive and will follow what his gut tells him, and it has gotten him out of bad situations more than once. Scar is quite strong, mentally and physically, meaning that others who are on his good side tend to feel protected somewhat. He is affectionate to those he likes. Even though he may sound good, he isn't completely. He had his dark side.
Sometimes when he remembers what both of his parents did to him (we'll get to that later) all the rage builds up inside of him. His dark side is cunning and sly, often conning people to do what he wishes. But it is also violent. Deadly. Scar has anger management issues. He can become very angry and the simplest of problems and start ranting. At first. But as he got older it progressively got worse. Soon it was a punch or a kick, which led to fighting. It got so extreme that he had to go to therapy. Many veer away from him for this along with many other reasons.
Tell me where you've been;;
History: Scar's life was sad from the beginning. His parents didn't nor ever did want to have a kid, especially not one like Scar. They were entrepreneurs, they started their very own business: Mr. And Mrs. Lovett's One-Stop Shop. The name said it all. You could buy anything from beer to... gasoline. So it wasn't the fanciest store nor the most original name, but they scraped by. Until they found out they were having a baby. So the baby was born. And as he got older, the more Mr. and Mrs. Lovett hated each other. Soon it was time for Scar to start school. They registered him for kindergarten at the local school. Which wasn't half bad, except that it looked as if it had been deserted for twenty-five years, the teachers looked like they'd rather be anywhere else in the world but there, and all the kids were just sickening, starving for a fight. It was the kind of school where if you don't do what the mean kids tell you to, you're dead.
When Scar turned five he became the messenger between his parents. They were never in the same room anymore. Soon, Scar got fed up with this nonsense, so what did he do? He screamed, threw a tantrum, all that stuff. Ever since then, if his mom or dad asked him to tell the other one something, he would get mad and start yelling. Soon after, if he heard one thing he didn't like he would become infuriated, sometimes he would even try to start a fight. His parents hated him for this. But still he hated them more. So he went to the school nurse, who told him he had anger problems, serious anger problems. The year after that, when Scar was just six, his father left him and his mother. They had no idea where he went. So the store became Mrs. Lovett's One-Stop Shop. Now you would think this would make the daughter and son bond closer, but it did just the opposite. Somehow it had gotten into his mind that she had chased him away, the only fatherly figure he had. Gone.
But their lives went on and they continued hating each other, bickering everyday. Until one day his mom got drunk and she did something terrible. She sexually abused him when he was nine years of age. It scarred little mister Lovett for life. And that was not the end of it, she harassed everyday. He never told anyone, if someone were to find out, she would beat him, or something. Everyday Scar Lovett thought about ending his life, but he never did because he always thought, What if this is all just a dream? or Maybe tomorrow will be different, but of course it wasn't. Until one day, when he was fourteen, he had gotten home from school and found she was nowhere to be seen. He found a note on the fridge that said, I love you, Scar. I'm sorry. This should have made Scar Lovett feel sad, or some other emotion like that, but it didn't, it made him furious. He went on a rampage, ripping the letter to shreds and throwing it into the fire. He went around the house screaming profanities and destroying anything he could get his hands on. But an idea had struck him, one that had never occurred it him.
He would run away.
So that he did. He had no idea where he was going simply because he was going nowhere. He changed his name to Scar. Never again would he be taunted with the Lovetts. He slept on the streets and ate out of trashcans. He had hit the bottom. The only thing he had was the clothes on his back and his name. Scar. He had no past now, he lived in the present, and the future was his. He was the graffiti he drew on the, and no one could stop him.
Except low-life thugs. He was surrounded by them one night, seven of them, and they all had weapons. They said they wanted his money, but he told them truthfully he had none. But of course, they didn't believe him. He was going to be dead in less than an hour. The only weapons he had was a pocket knife and a smalls pile of fist-sized rocks at his feet. He managed to throw one at them and they laughed before they went in for the kill. One of them, the leader, had him at gun point. He saw his life flash before his eyes, and it was awful. Rage was building inside of him. No one could do this to him. And that's when he saw the knife strike the leader. Seeing his chance he grabbed the gun from his limp hand and looked up to see a tall, imminent figure. Later he found out his name was Ryan, Ryan Sean. He pulled the trigger of the gun, it was aimed at a thug approaching him. Nothing happened. Turns out the gun had no bullets. Well, he still had to do something about the thug, so he did what any guy would do in this situation. He slammed the hilt of the gun as hard as possible onto the man's skull and heard a a satisfying crack as the skull cracked beneath blow. Scar and Ryan fought side by side that night and defeated every one of the thugs. Ryan became Scar's guardian, closer than a brother to him. They lived together, making a living off of Ryan's guitar playing. But there was no way Scar would allow that. He too taught himself how too play an instrument, the drums. At first he started off with a few garbage cans and their lids, but a few months passed and he had enough money to buy his own drum kit: Mapex drums and Sabian cymbals. And this is how they got by.
But one day, Scar came home after a gig, and Ryan wasn't home. He wasn't at the restaurant where he often worked, either. Scar waited until morning, hoping that maybe he was just working late or getting a drink at the bar. But in the morning, he was still nowhere to be found. And it dawned on him that his brother, his one fatherly figure, his hero, had dumped him. At first he tried of the old techniques his old school guidance counselor had taught him. It only made things worse. "You're such an incompetent idiot Scar, did you really think it would last forever? He's just another parent who can't stand me. I must really be awful," he told himself. The self loathing got the best of him and he decided it'd be best to take it out on the drums. Boy was he wrong. The hate and the sorrow combined together and once he destroyed his kit, kicking wholes in the bass drum and more unimaginable things. "GAH!!" he collapsed onto the ground and lay there the whole night, hoping this nightmare of a life would end.
The days that followed were worse. Ryan was the thing he had loved most and now even he had abandoned him. He would have practiced the drums, his second love, but those too were taken from him by his rage. That night he took the gun he had kept that night so long ago, the night he had met Ryan, bought bullets with some of his gig money and robbed a bank. Yes, a 15-year-old boy robbed a bank. And he loved it. He hid from the cops that night. The next day he robbed another bank, but this time, a cop was on the crime scene. Scar did what he thought best and shot the guy in the leg, then ran, because he did steal something. No one caught him. He did this 3 years, and ended up robbing over a dozen banks. Until one night, it was actually his birthday, too, he was a little too slow and a cop shot him in the arm.
It was the worst pain he had ever experienced in his life, but he continued running, determined not to give in. But he was painstakingly slowed and the caught him easily. He was imprisoned, he had to serve a term of four years. It was easy. He did the same thing everyday: sit, refuse food and sleep until absolutely necessary. He had his own cell because once they tried to room him with someone and he bit their throat out. But, hey, they were the ones who made fun of his history. It was his fourth year, and he was refusing food again. He looked through the bars to see something that only occurred in his nightmares now: Ryan Sean. He was only there for thirty days, but Scar made those thirty days living hell. He cried until there were no tears left, he screamed profanities until he had no voice and his throat almost killed him when he talked, he glared until he had to blink. But it seemed like it was over before it started and everything was back to normal: sit, refuse food and sleep until absolutely necessary.
His time was over. He was a free man. A changed man. He moved to a small town called Noatak, Canada.
