Appearance: Grey has awesome hair, and that's the only way to describe it. Well, in reality, you could say it's really thick, really curly, and some sort of honey brown color. Ironically, his eyes are also some sort of honey brown color, and those darlings sit right below his thin honey brown eyebrows. He has a large nose, resembling what they call a "Jewish Nose". Never one to gain much weight or muscle, his body stature is very small, his clothes not helping much. He's often wearing a sweater, ya know the kind that look as if grandma made it for him, or maybe he'll wear a turtle neck. Anything to keep his nerdy persona alive and well.
Personality: Grey is naturally a sensitive guy, the kind who will get teary at the end of the movie, sad ending or not. Not afraid to cry, he's very in touch with his emotions. Simply put, he's fragile. Grey also has a strong love for people, as long as their kind to him, and he often wants to be just like them (but in reality, he knows he can be no one but that sensitive guy everyone pities). If he likes someone enough, he'll stick to their side, never letting them leave his sight.
He can easily help people get through their emotional situations, because of the fact that he's so in touch with his own feelings. He's also helpful in the way that he can get information out of anyone, because everyone trusts him, seeing him as harmless. His nerves can get to him, though, like that one time he puked during the school play(his first and last). Another fault of his would be the gullibility. He's very easily deceived, and often is cheated. The way that he seems to attach to people may come from all his doubts and lack of self-confidence. His opinions are never the right ones, and his answers always wrong. Often caught checking himself in the mirror, he's frequently quoted for saying something along the lines of "Does this sweater make me look fat?"

History: As a child, Grey was that one puzzle piece that didn't fit anywhere in the puzzle. He must have been put into the wrong box. Except he wasn't a puzzle piece, he was a boy, and he didn't fit into his school. He was a nerd. Don't get me wrong, he wasn't a bookworm. He was just a boy with an overactive imagination and a love for all things seemingly "lame". His parents had even tried raising him to be an ordinary kid, but despite their efforts, Grey never seemed to fit in.
All throughout high school, he carried on appearing invisible(but honestly, he liked living in his own little world). And then, after he had graduated... BOOM. He became popular and got all the girls. NOT. Everything stayed the same after high school. He still lived with his parents, had no friends, fantasized about everything nerdy, he would even drool outside the comic book shop display cases when it closed at night. So yes, nothing had changed. Not up until one night, when he had a magical dream.
It was so realistic. It had to be true. A frog came to him, and told him about Talismans. It had said that there was a war, between the hunters and the innocents, and Grey would have to move to Noatak(which wasn't that big of a problem; he and his parents lived pretty close by). With his huge imagination, Grey knew it had to be true from the moment he had woke up. He had told his parents he was moving out, stumbling out an excuse about how he had met an online friend, which wasn't really necessary, they weren't exactly begging him to stay.
