Ismeme Academy was created over 15 months ago, but died after some time. Now we've started it up again!
When Ismeme Academy was built in 1537, it was intended to train young men into becoming knights. Ismeme means 'intelligent' in Greek, which didn't entirely suit the young warrior students who were being taught at the academy.[/blockquote]
In 1551, the headmaster died from a deadly blow to the head by one of the more aggressive students, leaving the school and his fortune to his niece, Claire Baldwin. Claire was the daughter of a human father and Dryad mother, so when she inherited the school at the age of twenty-two, she sent home all the soon-to-be knights and created the Ismeme Academy for the Gifted. The school welcomed any magical creatures that could not live normal lives because of their differences. The school taught them what no other school could offer.
Almost 460 years later, Ismeme Academy still lives, with hardly any changes in the curriculum. In the past centuries, the school has endured near discovery by humans, who now shun the magical races.
However, a system that was placed in the school during the 1700's has rivaled the students. Three teams (Athena, Artemis, and Ares) separate the races that attend Ismeme. The teams have been feeling a strong hate towards each other since their separation, fighting for dominance in the school.
At the same time, an evil is making it's home around the school. Vampires. They capture students at Ismeme and make them as their slaves. The school staff try to make sure none of the Vampire students join them... or the consequences may bring down the school. For now, an ancient spell protects the school from the outside, but it is slowly wearing away.
With the spell forgotten, can the students learn to fight back before it is too late?
