 The first in a series of letters, yay! Back and forth from Aras & Reyes to Aurelia in Vietnam. ;D By the way, some of this stuff in the letters is canon, but a lot of it is non-canon. Try and pick out which is which. |

 Aurelia is not amused. I am sorry, but she has horrible handwriting. XP  Aaaaand the inevitable: the three oldest Mai siblings! They're a tight group, and there is plenty of brotherly (and sisterly) love among thems, teehee. attempt to infiltrate the group and die a horrible, Azn-themed death. |

  His name's pronounced 'Phoup', despite how it's spelled. It means 'luck' or 'good fortune' or 'blessings' in Vietnamese. It's a very unfortunate name, but it's real. XD But anyways, there's a background story to all that. Phuc was her neighbour when she was growing up in that little, nameless village in Vietnam. They were best friends, but as they grew up, he fell in love with her. Also, as per Vietnamese tradition, she was engaged to him when she was only 15. Everybody was happy about it, and at first she was okay with it too, but after a while she realized she didn't want to go through with it. At first her family planned for her to stay in Vietnam, but after a lot of persuasion, she was finally allowed to follow the Mai family tradition and leave to hunt/travel. Phuc was devistated and, despite having no guarentee that Aurelia would ever come back, refused to have any other bride and developed a consistant 'you-bore-me' attitude towards most things with few exception. |
