What's Your Cover;;
Appearance:
Standing over 5 feet tall, Gene have a thin frame now. Yes, she loves food, but lately with the lack of "the hip word of authors lingo", "muse", she haven't been having much of an appetite. A bagel with cream cheese and a granny smith apple can leave her full for the rest of the day. She shrugs it off though when friends and family advise her to go to the doctor. A simple smile with her thin pink lips and hazel green eyes they would be kept at bay before worrying about her all over again.
Sometimes they feel that she doesn't care much about herself. She never gives her hair curls or anything new. She ventures more outside than with her hair, which is usely bound up in a ponytail with a free bangs frame the side of her face. Even her clothes shouted care-free with her simple clothing wear. She would dress up if she have to, but it would be either important, a dare, or a snow ball chance in hell to see her wear heels. Gene would stick with a comfy pair of jeans and a top. She does have a rule of not wearing a baggy shirt with baggy pants. It's either fitting top with baggy pants, fitting top with comfortable fit jeans, or a baggy top with fitting jeans.
Why dress nice and iron if she's going to roam the outdoors anyways?
Personality:
Gene is a free spirited person from the inside and out with her laid back personality. She's the type that does everything within her comfort zone and for comfort. A t-shirt and a pair of pants would do her perfectly without having to go through trivial views like "there's pain in beauty". In short, she is quite simple woman after casting away the complexity, stress, and extra time like girly girls.
With wanting to live a simple life, Gene wants to be a drama free person. She can't stand arguments and yelling, so if a window opens to such scenario, Gene would shut-down in silence or stay away from the source of drama for a while. She is willingly to cut a few strands of relationships to stay away from what may seem to be the inevitable, hardcore argumenative disagreements.
On her own, Gene is an authoress, or at least she tries to be. Most of her creativity comes from her own dreams or spasms of ideas produced by her favorite warm beverage, hot chocolate. Besides in her living space or around friends, Genevieve may be caught out in nature photography or painting. She loves free space, nature, pina coladas, and getting caught in the rain.
Tell me where you've been;;
History:
Gene didn't always lived in Canada being the natural born American with the functional dysfunctional family. Her parents had a thing with giving their children long exaggerated names, which is why Genevieve cut her short to Gene. Her twin sister splitted Gwendolyne to Gwen, and their baby sister went by Jess instead of Jessamine. Unfortunately the boys didn't have that problem, Michael II and Angelo. A family of seven can be hell for one person. There's hardly any quite when your twin chattered on the phone like a social butterfly who would simply die of a talking dry spell and two boisterous boys. Jess on the other hand was Gene's shadow; she was easier to be around, since Gene molded her from a young age. The parents were loving as always, but the starting of a souring marriage can always disturb the dynamics of a household.
Gene didn't move to Canada, because of her family. She put up with commuting through college; what could be better? It was free; Gwen lived on a campus, so she didn't have to share a room with her anymore, and there was free food. Luckily, Gwenny-poo gained enough scholarships to be the least of the family's worries. As for Gene, she wasn't too sure what to be. She was an artistic child and took fictional writing courses along with others including storyboarding. The only difficulty was getting a kick-start into this new life and already she was lacking inspiration.
Thankfully, she had relatives, relatives who were sweet enough for her to rent out their house. They lived elsewhere in the depths of Canada; the girl still had to grow accostumed to the idea of provinces instead of states and had to by herself a map for "just incase". The one she lives in now was for vacation and getaways. Might as well make good us of their hospitality and blessings.
