Appearance: August's practically white blond hair reaches well past her shoulders. Her hair is mostly straight, but gets a little wavy every now and then. Her eyes are a light shade of grey; they resemble two full moons. August's height is about average at 5'3’’. She's border-line underweight, mainly because she forgets to eat. Her features resemble a fox, small nose and cunning eyes. Though those 'cunning eyes' more often than not look playful and curious. August thinks her ears are odd looking, and in result, blush when anyone mentions them. If she wakes up and feels particullary ashamed, she'll end up going the whole day with a skull cap or a hoodie to cover them. She has a heart shaped face and she wears a lot of hand-me-down clothes. Most of the clothes she wears are from garage sales and thrift stores.
Personality: If she feels safe, August lets her guard down, a possible flaw. When threatened, suspicious, or frightened, she notices small details, important or not. August sometimes gets too absorbed in what she's doing, staring at stars, listening to the leaves rustle, and watching the rain hit rivers. Losing track of time is her speciality. It gets so bad; she occasionaly forgets to eat. She has a bad habit of hiding trinkets in odd places. She's almost always late; and somewhat undernourished.
August lacks people skills. She'd rather watch from a distance than be up-close and personal. She's a disaster at cheering others up, sometimes making it undoubtedly worse. She's good with small children, not really considering them people. Sometimes, she'll lose her head and chatter on and on. At times, coming off either annoying or charismatic. Depends on the person she's talking to really.
August is somewhat childish. She gets excited over unusual things. She'd probably do anything for sweets, and has a strange fascination with Dragons and Fairy tales. August still has irrational fears, predominantly the dark. Her curiousity almost always gets the better of her, and gets into strange situations because of it. She doesn't particularly like shoes, so she just goes without them. She knows more than she should. Most likely place to find her? Up in a tree, watching things... and people.
August is ridiculously curious. If you catch her attention, she probably won't leave you alone till she figures you out, but as soon as your solved she’ll lose interest quickly. People aren’t her strong suit, so you’d most likely captivate her for a lifetime because she will never figure out people.

History: Born into a wealthy family that did nothing but prosper, August had expectations looming about her since her birth. At an early age, she exhibited more of a... rebellious personality, which worried her parents to no end. She lived in a sheltered house (more like a small mansion), and as the only daughter, was protected jealously.
Her original home was located in Iceland. Her home was a more modern version of a castle. This, along with the old fairytale books in the library, led to her deep interest in fairytales. Her parents both had talismans, her father being a horse, and her mother a hare. They were both caring and gentle, but suffocating. They helped her mature at an early age, pride beaming in their eyes. She met every expectation. At the age of 10, her talisman awoke. Her parents were proud, though they disliked her talisman being a fox. Her father, and early blossomer as well, trained her, but the training didn't last long. Sick of being kept in the house, and tired of waiting for someone to rescue her, August jumped out the window. It was an impulse; she didn't think of the consequences. Somehow August survived, with just scratches and aches. She wandered for quite awhile, till she hid away on a boat. Noatak was calling her, though she didn't know it's name, or where it was. She just had a feeling.
August isn't really a Frost. She was bought. Her mother gave her up and someone sold her to the Frost family. August isn’t sure if her mother sold her or not. She doesn't know her real last name, and wasn’t even aware of the fact she was adopted.. She doesn't know her real father, and doubts her mother could tell her. Journey Cassandra Willow is August's identical twin, and they meet each other in Noatak. Her mother, Emma, is also the mother to August's half-brother, Ryan Sean.
