Appearance: Everything about Tristan screams supercool and superconfident. Not one for the scruffy look, Tristan likes the casual t-shirt and jeans look usually, preferring not to take very long worrying about his appearance. The black spikey hair that covers his head frequently looks like he just got out of bed, and he feels that it's one of his best features. His baby blues take in everything around him, and he as observant of body language as his talisman. A little on the tallish side, Tristan is slightly gangly looking but he carries himself well.
Personality:Tristan is a very self-reliant person, and is very proud of the fact that he doesn't have to depend on anybody but himself. He's very mistrustful of people, and you have to earn his trust over time before he'll open up. He's not an emotional person, but he does wear his emotions on his face. He's pretty good at picking up how others are feeling too, because he is more consious of body language and tone of voice.
Tristan spends lots of time self-reflecting on who he is, and who he wants to be, especially since he's been having the weird dreams. Most of his self-reflection is spent just relaxing and thinking about stuff that's been going on in his life, and he enjoys taking the time to stop and smell the roses. In addition, Tristan is very personal, so if a person doesn't treat him well once, he is willing to hold a grudge, forever if necessary. On the other hand, once you earn his respect, you've got it forever, and he is a good person to have as a forever friend.
~Tell me where you've been
History: Tristan was born on a bright, green May morning, to a happy family. From the beginning, he was aware that his parents both had talismans, and they taught him good morals. His father was a bear, and his mother was a crane, and they bully expected him get a talisman. His older sister Stephanie was ecstatic about having someone to push around, but it didn't last long. As soon as she got her talisman, a boa constrictor, she stopped really paying him much attention. Eventually Tristan realized that independance wasn't a bad thing, and that thinking for yourself had it's advantages.
Becoming a teenager was rough for Tristan, but high school was much better for him, and by the time he was a senior he was one of the most popular guys in his school. He used the popularity to make up for the fact that he still hadn't gotten his talisman. He didn't mind the crowds, but sometimes he just wished that he could be by himself. By the end of high school Tristan had slowly slipped out of the popular crowd, and gradually he'd found himself being more isolated than ever not only from the teens his own age, but his family.
Eventually, he found that he liked the solitude, and though he still keeps in touch with his family he prefers to keep to himself. He doesn't feel that he fits in with his family and is ashamed that he doesn't have a talisman. Yet . . .
