"A big cage." she said evily, but it was obvious to anyone that she was only joking. "Alright. One at at time then." Kali agreed. "You don't happen to know if a group of them might still be around from twenty three years ago, do you?" she asked, her blue eyes full of curiousity. If there was any few people inparticular that she wanted to see dead, it was the ones that had killed her parents. The only problem was, she didn't know just how many of them were at the hospital that night she was born. She didn't know what they looked like, how old they were, or anything at all. But still she held a hope of finding them. Of bringing them to their deaths, much the same way that they had brought her parents to their own deaths.

Jocelyn gave a quick nod in agreement and popped another grape in her mouth. She paused when Kali mentioned a group from so long ago. 23 years ago? Umm, no, that was before I was born, why? she asked full of curiosity. Jo realized that she still didnt know much about this girl, although she knew a bit about Jo, some of her history, but not much of Kali was known. Now Jo was really intrigued by why she was so bent on finding a certain group from 23 years ago.
She took a sip of juice and rubbed her arms together, although they had a fire the cabin was still a bit chilly. It was so old the windows and doors were not perfect and it let in a bit of a draft. She was gonna have to fix this up more if they were going to use this for a real meeting place, get blankets, new windows and a new door, somehow.

"They're vile men, Hunters." she said something that she had already said before. Kali waited a few seconds in silence, gathering her thoughts, and answered. "Twenty three years ago, on the night of October thirty first, they killed two people that were very important to me." her voice was grim, and sorrow filled every word, bubbling over the top of the very letters that left her mouth and spilling into the air, where it turned into sound. She shivered, a bit from talking about her parents' deaths, but mostly from the cold in the room. "I've always wanted to kill them since. My friend and I swore that we would, but he left when I was fourteen." Kali told her. She didn't actually say who the two people were, but it was pretty obvious. The girl shrugged and popped a chip into her mouth, thinking.

Jocelyn nodded grimly. She has never lost family before, a friend yes, but not family. Well, I promise, I will help you do whatever you need to do. She gave Kali a reassuring smile before moving on. But we need to fix this place up if we are gonna use it often. Its gonna be winter soon and its already cold in here, even with a fire. So I think we should get new windows that have a better seal on them, some blankets, thicker curtains that are less see through..and...umm anything else you think we need? She knew that her skill was minimal and that she couldnt do evrything that she would want done to this place.

Kali looked around the room. "Uh... it looks okay to me." she said. "Maybe a stronger lock," she suggested, looking at the small old latch that was on the door. If anyone came after them with a bear talisman, that little latch wouldn't save them. "And I could fix the roof up a bit, incase it rains or snows." Kali offered again. It wouldn't be very good if the roof started leaking in the middle of the winter. Kali looked around the room once more. "But I think that pretty much covers it. Maybe a rug, so that the noise doesn't echo so much." Kali knew where to get a few rugs for free. "I know where to get the rugs." she said.

Jo smiled, This is good, I can pick up a big lock, and some new windows. Some more blankets too. And if you could fix up the roof a bit and get the rugs, I think we'll be good. We can always do something when we find we need it. She paused thinking about their little home away from home, she liked it, feeling like having a family, yes, she thought about Kali as having a part of family. Jo hadn't seen her family since she was 16, that was 4 years ago. A long time to Jo.
Oh I forgot to tell you, I meet another girl who wants to help us. Her name is Mirra, she's an eagle although new, she cant transform fully yet. I told her where the cabin was so she can meet us here. I think you'll like her. Jo smiled again.

"Okay, cool!" Kali said. It was good that they were getting new people so quickly. It would be easier to get the Hunters with more people, and more people meant some new friends. Kali didn't really have any 'friends', but maybe, since she would be working with them, that would change. The girl opened a juice box and took a sip. "Will she come today?" Kali asked. She stared into the fire, watching the crackling wood pop and shift. It was nice to be calm for a moment, and she wondered how many more people would join them. A lot, Kali hoped. Right now, with only three people, they were severly outnummbered.

Jo paused, Well I gave her my number and stuff, and told her to give me a call and that around 5 or 6 works best for you. So we'll see. In the meantime, I wanna set a plan to get one of those Hunters, I know where he lives, an older guy, the one that leaves the kitchen window open...I was thinking maybe slip in turn the gas from the stove on and then toss a match in? it sounded cruel to her, but it was a Hunter and she would have to get used to this killing idea.

"Sure, that sounds good to me." Kali said. But then she paused. She wasn't usually this cool with the idea of killing. Kali wasn't a murderer. But with Hunters, death didn't seem like such an impossible thing to bring upon them. "But we have to make sure that he doesn't have any children." she said. Kali had grown up an orphan, and she knew what it was like. She would never, ever, bring it upon another. Even, she had to admit bitterly to herself, if it meant sparing the life of a Hunter. Children shouldn't have to pay for their parents' mistakes. They shouldn't have to grow up without them, either. The downfall to this though, was that the children would grow up to be Hunters. "Maybe," Kali said. "In the case that they have children, we could spare their lives. But at a price." she added in. "Their life, in exchange for information and background on others. And their children must be kept away from whatever those beasts are teaching them." Kali finshed. "What do you think?"

It would make it more tricky, harder to get away with. But I guess I agree with you. From when I've seen, he lives alone. She paused and thought about it for a minute and knew she was being careful because it had happened to her. She gave kali a reassuring look. We'll be careful, we wont do anything unless we look into them and know almost everything about them, then if they do have a family, we will take extra precautions. She sipped her juice and looked out the window, it was dark, and the leaves were rustling in the wind. she smiled, fall was her favorite season. She loved playing in the leaves in human or cat form.

"Alright." Kali said. She looked into the fire one last time, and then saw Jo looking out the window. The girl turned to look, half expecting someone to be there, but all she saw were the leaves. Kali smiled. The crisp leaves would leave a good trail for hunting later, and the smell of them would hide her scent. Then she could bring the rugs back to the cabin, and some meat as well. If she was lucky, maybe even a wall decoration. The deer would be searching the forest for food now, picking up nuts and tearing the bark off trees. They would be easy targets while they came into the open for food. Kali took a bite of a chip. "Do you like deerskin?" she asked.

Deer skin? I don't think I ever really seen it up close. I mean I've seen deer before, obviously. Hahaha. Why? She looked at Kali but in a little hint of a way knew why she had asked, after all she was a cougar, and that was what cougars do. It's funny, because before you turn into an animal you would find many things gross or morally wrong. But once you transform, especially into a carnivore, eating another animal just seems normal, it is nature after all.
While she waited for Kali to speak again, Jo looked around and finally really noticed that the cabin was a bit dirty and messy. She got up out of her chair and walked over to where the 'kitchen' counter was. She grabbed an old towel and began wiping everything down, getting rid of the dust. She began moving some furniture so it was in a more organized manner and moved a few things around that were on the shelves.

"Just wondering." Kali said, knowing that she probably knew what she was going to do to get the rugs. "I can help you with that." said the girl, getting up from her seat and grabbing the second towel. She wiped down the windows and the window ledges, and then moved over to the fireplace. She slid a few things out of the way, picked them up and dusted beneath them. But she looked up before she set the last item down. It was a picture of a man, and an old photograph at that. It was black and white, as colorless and faded as a rainy day. He wore a business suit, along with a tie. Round glasses with a thin frame rested on the end of his nose, and a pencil thin mustache stood still above his upper lip. By the looks of it, he was young. Maybe seventeen at the time the picture was taken. She looked at it for a moment, and then asked, "Who's this?" bringing the picture over to Joyceln.

Jo paused in her cleaning, and looked up, a strand of her auburn hair falling over her eyes, she quickly brushed it back behind an ear and walked over. She looked over Kali's shoulder and shook her head slowly. I'm not really sure, but man is it old. Maybe it was the guy who lived her long ago. Wow, that must be years decades since anyone lived in here last. That's really cool, we should keep it there. She said nodding her head toward the little black spot where the picture had been on top the fire place mantle.
She shrugged once more and walked back over to the kitchen area, she stopped the old fashion stove and began to dust it down. There were doors under it and she opened them to continue cleaning, and there she found a small gas tank. Hey! Look at this! I think this stove might be able to still work! I mean, we might need to get a new gas tank, but then I think we might be able to use it! Jo was excited, we could make soup, mac and cheese and tons of other stuff. That way no one had to bring snack each time they came here.

"Cool!" said Kali, walking over to look at it. "Whoever lived here, it doen't look like they used it much." she said, touching the top of it. There weren't very many stains on it, like the ones you saw in the antique stores that were always covered in messy stains. Kali thought that the stains added character, and proof of the history that it had been through. But this stove seemed as if someone had bought it, then ignored the fact that it was ever here. Its condition was amazing for its age. "I wonder who lived here..." said the girl. "I wonder what their Talisman was, or if they even had one. Do you think they were Hunters or Innocents?" she asked with curiosity. Everything here seemed so old, she wondered if there had even been Hunters around back then. Whenever 'back then' was.
