Ryan rolled his eyes a bit, I am a charmer and you know it. I got you to go on this date with me didn't I? And I got you to stay with me for almost 3 hours now. I'd say Im doing pretty good. But honestly, I wouldnt regret it for the world, even though you still dont trust me. But you are welcome, Im always glad to help. He kept walking, looking from house to house wondering which house was hers. Do you live in an apartment or a house? He said looking between the two. He looked back at her, right into her eyes. That was one thing about him, he could hold a direct stare into the eyes forever where most people got uncomfortable and looked away, he could hold it.

"In a house." she told him. "It's just up ahead." But when he held Kali's eyes, she stopped walking to look at him. She didn't look away. "Why are you looking at me like that?" she asked the same question that she had asked him in the Night Club. His eyes were still that handsome brown, his smile still that cute little grin. Kali simply watched him as he looked into her eyes, but slowly an akward smile found its way over her lips that may have made her look bashful, even though she wasn't. The girl couldn't help but wonder why he had chosen now to look into her eyes. Had she said something?

Ryan smiled, Oh nothing. He said and turned to continue walking down the street. So when can I see you next? Or am I just gonna have to go to Oceana every night? He said turned his head to the side to look at her while he kept walking. He didn't know if she even wanted to see him again or if she was just being polite. He slowly and secretly reached his hand over just so his pointer finger was playing with her pinky finger. He didnt hold her hand, but let their few fingers intertwine.

"I don't know," she said, smiling slyly. "When do you want to see me again?" Kali asked him. Then she laughed as he reached for her pinky. "What's this? A pinky-swear?" she inquired, lifting her hand so that she could see their intertwined fingers at eye level. The girl put her hand back down as she looked at him. "Well, I pinky-swear that I want to see you again. How's that?" she teased him. She liked to tease him. Kali looked up to see her house drawing nearer and nearer. She was glad to be getting home. She was tired from her two jobs.

Ryan smiled at her joke and her teasing. Well I guess a pinky swear will have to do. But I would like to see you tomorrow, if thats possible. He looked up at the houses, seeing that she looked up as well so he guessed that they were near. Which one is yours? He asked looking between them all. He didn't want to leave her at the door of her house, even though he knew he had to, he probably kept her out later then she should have been. But they both had lost track of time. He was feeling a little more uncomfortable knowing they were nearing her house, he didn't know how to end it, would a kiss on the cheek be on? Or no kiss, but a hug? Handshake? He would have to go by guessing.

"Yeah, of course it's possible." said Kali. "I can meet you somewhere, if you like." she told him. "That's my house." She pointed. It was neither to big, nor to small. It was a good size for Kali. She walked up the steps and turned to him. "Well, this is goodbye, for now. I guess." she told him. The girl smiled awkwardly. She wouldn't mind a hug. A kiss, no. But a hug would be just fine.

Ryan smiled as they walked up her front steps, I guess it is goodbye, for now. He added like she did. He didn't know what to do, how to end it, he stood still for a few minutes, trying to figure out what she wants. Then he decided he would just do what he felt was ok, he leaned forward before she could react, and gave her a light gentle kiss on her cheek. He smiled, Good night, Kali. I had a good time, even though parts were a bit..I dont know what you would call it, but either way I did have a good time.

"Thanks, Ryan." she said, blushing as he kissed her. Kali had told him that a kiss wouldn't be okay on their first date, but still, it was nice. Her face didn't burn, and that meant that there wasn't any poison on his lips. And that meant that he really had just been a man with a crush, not some Hunter out to steal her spirit. "I had a good time too." she told him, smiling. "Good night." Kali turned and opened the door, but before she closed it, she remembered to ask him, "Where can I meet you tomorrow?"

Ryan smiled and let her slip away from him, until she turned back to look at him. Where ever you want. Could meet you here on your steps, after work, that rock, anywhere. He smiled, he really did mean anywhere, even if it was 3 hours out of his way, he would go there for her. He hoped that she saw that, and he hoped that she didnt think he was coming on too strong. He can do that sometimes, being the ex-player in progress guy.
He lifted his large strong hand and ran it through his dark brown hair, flipping it up and making it look ever more like he just rolled out of bed. Which is what he does, for he never brushes it, just flattens it, or shakes his head. He put both his hands in his pants pocket, with his thumbs hooked over the edge. He gave Kali his seductive, cute boyish side ways grin, or smirk whatever you want to call, he could really look anyway he wanted to, being the charmer type. He could look sexy and make a girl melt and turn hot and sweaty, or he could be cute and adorable. Tonight, he did the mix of both, sexy and cute. he waited to see a reaction, anything, from Kali. Even a short intake of breath, a flush of the cheeks, a flick of the eyes, the smallest motion would let him know if his look worked.

Kali smiled at him. "Good night, Ryan." she said, and closed the door. The girl was still grinning to herself as she skipped to her bedroom and changed into a pair of sweat pants and a comfortable shirt. She was too awake to go to sleep just yet, and turned on the television. Kali laid across the bed, and her hand touched something that was lying ontop of the blanket. Ryan's jacket. She picked it up and looked at it. She had meant to give it back to him, but was he still near the house? Or had he gone back to the mansion already? Kali swung her bare feet off the bed and peered out the window.

Ryan had begun to walk down the sidewalk, smiling to himself thinking of the night that they had just had. His hands in his pants pockets, he didnt even realize that he had left her still wearing his jacket. He walked with a slow, wandering pace and looking up at the stars. He couldnt wait til tomorrow so he could see her again, and he knew he would still be thinking of her til then. He wander what she really thought of him, was he just being nice to him, or did she like him back? He hoped she liked him, but he had to laugh thinking of her and her funny ways, he loved her funny ways, her sly comments.

Kali ran out the door, even though she didn't see him, he knew that he couldn't be too far off. "Ryan!" she shouted. "Ryan wait! You forgot this!" she said, running quickly to catch up to him. "You forgot this!" she said again, halting just beside him. Her blue eyes looked up into his face, and she laughed. How stupid she must look in her pajamas, chasing after him with a jacket. "You forgot your coat." Kali told him, and handed Ryan the long jacket that still smelled to richly of his cologne. She smiled up at him, and laughed at herself again. "Sorry." she said.

Ryan stopped and turned quickly hearing her voice. He smiled when he saw her running after him in her pajamas. How sweet of you. He said teasingly looking her up and down in her pj's, with one eye brow raised. He reached out and took his jacket, folding it over his arm. Thanks for returning my coat so I didnt catch my death out here, not that I noticed that I was cold because someone was on my mind. he looked at her in the moonlight and couldnt stop smiling. You should really go to bed, its most 3:45 now. She licked his lips not knowing what to do next.

Kali smiled. "Okay." she said, and waved. The girl began to walk away, back towards her house. She turned around, half-way back. "Meet me at the lake!" she hallared to him, walking backwards as she waited his response. Her bare feet stepped softly against the smooth sidewalk, and her sweatpants brushing against some of the dried autumn leaves. Kali listened for his response, and she could have sworn that she heard an old lady yelling at them to be quiet, but the old woman's voice was so raspy and quiet, it was hard to tell if she had shouted anything out the window or if it had just been the wind. Kali looked over to her neighbor's house. Nope, just the wind.

Ryan smiled and watched her slowly walk away, backwards. Lake sounds good, what time? Ryan was suddenly thinking of bringing a basket with food, maybe some classy wine, a blanket and setting up a nice picnic for her. Sitting next to the lake would be very relaxing, and there was plenty of wildlife to look at for amusement. he gave a quick little shake of a good bye wave to her and blew a sweet kiss in her direction, letting hid hand linger for a moment close to his lips. The picnic at the lake would be fun, now he couldnt wait another minute for it to be then. A broad smiled spread across his face.
